PROJECT WORKFLOW

01

Kickoff call

Before we dive in, we’ll schedule a quick 30-minute call to get to know each other and discuss your brand’s goals. This conversation helps clarify how I can best support your project. By the end, we’ll outline a rough verbal agreement covering the scope, deliverables, timeline, and budget.

02

Project proposal

Based on what we discuss in our kickoff call, I’ll put together a custom project proposal with a few different options to choose from — usually tiered to reflect varying levels of involvement or output. Each option will include a clear breakdown of deliverables, timeline, and pricing.

03

Signed & sealed

Once you’ve chosen the option that works best for you, I’ll send over a contract, a short questionnaire, and a 50% deposit invoice to secure your spot. I’ll also share some tips and examples to help you build a project moodboard. With the signed contract and deposit in hand, we’ll be all set to kick off on the scheduled start date.

CREATIVE STRATEGY

01

Research & discovery

With your brief and moodboard in hand, I dig into both alongside in-depth market and audience research to uncover key insights. These findings help shape the creative direction and ensure the design aligns with your goals.

02

Design direction

Drawing from the research, I’ll develop at least two distinct design directions that directly respond to your brief. Each will include sample logos, color palettes, typography, and other visual elements—presented in a cohesive style. I’ll walk you through the concepts and send over the presentation afterward to guide your feedback.

03

Initial ideas

Once we’ve locked in a direction, I dive into the logo exploration phase—generating dozens (sometimes hundreds) of ideas. This part of the process is all about casting a wide net, so we can identify promising concepts and refine the strongest into something truly impactful.

04

Idea development

From the pool of initial ideas, I’ll select and refine a few strong concepts. At this stage, I’ve identified the most fitting solution for your brief and begin to expand it—bringing in color, typography, patterns, and other elements to build out a fully realized direction.

05

Design presentation

With the design finalized, I’ll prepare a detailed presentation that walks you through the work and the thinking behind each decision. Toward the end, you’ll see tailored mockups that bring the design to life—so you can clearly envision how it will function in your specific context.

06

Final or feedback

Once you’ve had a couple of days to sit with the work and gather your thoughts, you’ll share your feedback with me via email. If revisions are needed, I’ll make the updates and, if helpful, present the refined work again—continuing the process until everything is approved and finalized.
